Pass It On! Don’t worry, be happy!

What defines good life quality?  The answer to this question might be very different depending on each person’s priorities. However, if you want to learn to be happy, it might be very helpful to look at your life through the eyes of a child. Children often are happy, without knowing why. They just smile, believe and forgive. Very simple.

If you want to achieve something meaningful in your life, you have to learn to deal with rejection and criticism, even if it hurts. Artists of any kind often get rejected by audience, editors, critics. But it doesn’t mean that they should just give up. Sometimes you have to ignore the critics and sometimes it’s better to listen to them and to work on things they criticize. Aristotle said: “Criticism is something you can easily avoid by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” This actually means, that you can’t avoid it as long as you live your life among other people, who live theirs. Don’t try to win everyone’s approval. Enhance you life by accepting people’s opinion without taking it as condemnation. Remember, you can’t control other people’s thoughts and opinions and you can’t expect everyone to approve your actions. However, you can control how you react to criticism, learn from it and when and how you should release it and and just move on.

Having a good life quality is not only important to be happy, but it will also give you a chance of longevity. Ever since I was a kid, I was always curious, how come some people can’t look forward to their birthdays. At that time I already knew some adults, who went crazy about their birthdays and those who didn’t care at all about these dates.
Anyway, birthdays have always been some kind of magical dates for me, just like New Year. And I’m glad that it didn’t change as I got older. You have to take care of yourself, if you want to enjoy your life. Based on an entry in The Science Of Appearanceeveryone deserves to be celebrated and it’s already a pretty good reason to celebrate your birthday. I’m not nagging by saying all of you definitely have to celebrate your birthdays, I’m just saying, you should at least consider it ;)
