Push message problems fixed

We had some issues with appbzr push notifications yesterday, because the amount of users has increased a lot the last week. We have been in the Top 10 of Italy for some days and our server had some problems with sending all the push notifications. The effect was that no push messages have been send for Sunday. You may have missed a price drop – make sure to check your list. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The good news is that we could improve our software and now everything should be back to normal. We are also confident that we are able to handle much more users – you are free to recommend or advertise our app ;-).

  1. I have still not received push notifications as of 3:20 this afternoon New York time. I will check again tomorrow but I thought this info might be helpful to you if I am not the only one. Thank you.

    Thanks for reporting this, it is always helpful.

    Please try to disable and then enable the push messages again. This may fix such problems.

  4. I have push problems with free apps finder? I don’t get anything since a week now. Please fix the issue.

  5. If you still have problems, please try to disable and then enable the push messages again.

    If the problem persists, write an email to iphone@rapidrabbit.de or use the feedback button in the settings, so we can sort out your problem individually.

    Das sollte hier auch funktionieren – du musst nur die gleiche mail Adresse verwenden. Bitte auf englisch kommentieren, damit alles was davon haben ;-)

  6. I know you said that any info is helpful so I hope you don’t think I’m a pest, but 2 days ago I noticed that Anuman’s game Alice was listed as .99 on my price drop list. I thought that when I put it on the list it wad priced at 1.99. Because I didnt receive a push notification from you, I just assumed my memory was wrong. But today I did receive the notification ( which at least let’s my poor memory off the hook) stating the price has been lowered. I do know some apps only go on sale for very short periods of time. I thought it would be helpful to you to let you know about this. I really like your app & think you not only run it well & provide a great service, but you really listen to what people have to say, so thanks for all you do.

    We are in the process of updating our server, so this feedback is always helpful. Our aim is to provide a fast and reliable service – if we fail in this part, please let us know.

  8. The problem is that I have the app on 2 iPhones and the push mags used to go to both phones now they only go to one. And my lists keep getting messed up???

    whatever i am Looking for, The result is always The Same: “sorry, nichts gefunden” (nothing found)

  10. This isn’t a major issue, but within the Price Drop list, whenever I go to edit the arrangement of some items, the apps seem to move out of order on their own without my doing.

    I’m not completely bothered by it, but I know there are others out there who would be extremely irked by something like that. Patiently waiting for any updates to resolve this issue.

    That being said, thank you for this amazing app. It is easier than ever to bypass the search limitations of the App Store, not to mention the ease with which I can keep track of apps on my wishlist. I even discovered some free ones today!

  12. I want to first say that I love this app and that I download many apps daily but I have a question about the info about the apps that I look at…is there a way to put the info in the description whether or not the app is 20MB or more.

  13. First of all I wanted you to know this is the best app finder I have ever used. You guys do a great job and I thank you for the service. I was just wondering if you are having any push notification problems. I didn’t receive any yesterday & today. I live in NY if that helps. Again thanks for what you do.
